Bossier City Shooting: One person was killed in a deadly officer-involved shooting early this morning in Bossier City, authorities said. The shooting happened just before 5:00 a.m. at the Southern Living Mobile Home Park and prompted a rapid response by law enforcement.
Witnesses in the area reported hearing multiple gunshots, followed moments later by the sounds of sirens as first responders arrived on scene. The Bossier City Police Department has since confirmed the shooting involved one of their officers and resulted in the suspect’s death.
At this time, it is 8:30 a.m. units of Louisiana State Police and BCPD remained on the scene to further investigate. Further details about actions preceding the shooting will not be given by officials.
