He made his presence and contributions felt well beyond the operating room by being a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at Temple University School of Medicine, where he taught future generations of medical professionals.
Besides his professional excellence, Dr. Kaufman was truly committed to charity work, offering his surgical skills to those in need in the underserved communities of the world. His dedication to serving others brought him great respect and huge admiration among peers.
One of his other major contributions to medical leadership came with his taking up the position of Chairman of Surgery at the Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus Hospital. His part in shaping practices for surgeons, his relentless driving force for excellence leaves no stone unturned in enhancing the health care community.
